#Description
This Leonard Post fire taper blank embodies classic stream rod DNA. The 7ft6in 2pc configuration shines in brush-choked Eastern freestone streams, where its medium-light power (0.065"-0.306" progressive taper) balances trout sensitivity with smallmouth bass capability.
Crafted from hand-selected Tokin bamboo through 36-step processing, the six-strip architecture features 18% nickel silver ferrules for seamless energy transfer. Pre-finished with water-based varnish (optional unfinished for weight-conscious builders), this blank excels with 4wt lines to deliver size 16-20 dries and nymphs ≤4g. Ideal for Appalachian brook trout habitats and pocket water presentations.
