A bamboo rod should belong on the water, not only in a collection. We price rods and blanks by what we actually build: finished sections, tip count, fitted ferrules, and the package needed to send them safely.

WHY THE PRICE IS LOWER
A shorter route, not a shorter build.
Our rods move from the Zhusrod workshop to the angler with fewer selling layers in between. That lets us keep bamboo within reach while the planing, finishing, ferrule fitting, and inspection still happen at the bench.

WHAT CHANGES THE PRICE
You pay for the build you choose.
Weight and taper change how a rod fishes. The price changes when the physical build, fitting work, or packed length changes.
A second finished tip
A 2-tip build includes another full tip section made to the same taper. It is not a small accessory added at packing.
Fitted nickel-silver ferrules
Blank builders can choose unferruled cane or ferrules fitted to the blank. More joints require more ferrules and fitting work.
Length and packed size
A finished 7'6 2pc rod crosses the 1.2 m packed-length threshold. For blanks, the oversize tier begins above 7'6.

Before you choose a configuration.
Does a lower price mean a lower-grade rod?
No. Our price is shaped by a shorter sales route and a consistent configuration system. Each rod and blank still goes through the workshop's planing, finishing, and inspection process.
Why does a second tip cost more?
A second tip is another complete bamboo section made to the same taper. It requires the same core bench work as the first tip and gives you a second finished section to rotate or keep in reserve.
Should I order a ferruled or unferruled blank?
Choose unferruled if you plan to source, size, and fit your own ferrules. Choose ferruled when you want the nickel-silver ferrules matched and fitted before the blank leaves our workshop.
Why is a 7'6 finished rod priced differently from a 7'6 blank?
The finished handle and hardware make a 7'6 2pc rod exceed the 1.2 m packed-length threshold. A 7'6 2pc blank remains within it, so the blank's oversize tier starts above 7'6.

The price attached to your selected product variant and the total shown at checkout are final. Currency conversion and an active store promotion can change the displayed amount.
