This collection brings together newly made ZHUSROD bamboo fly rods based on several archived Orvis taper references. Current designs include compact Flea and Mitey Mite configurations, Battenkill references, the Limestone Special and a 1952 taper. “Orvis taper” is a family of different designs, not one shared action.
Start with the exact model, then compare line weight, length, sections and tip configuration. The Mitey Mite and Flea references suit compact light-line water, while Battenkill and Limestone Special designs offer different combinations of reach, loading and trout-fishing versatility.
