This collection gives builders several distinct Heddon taper references rather than a generic "Heddon blank." The #14, #17 Black Beauty, #50 President, Folsum and Premier designs differ in length, line weight, section count and intended finished proportions.
Start with the exact taper reference, then check whether the blank is two-piece or three-piece and whether the selected option includes one or two tips. A classic Black Beauty trout build calls for different grip, reel-seat and guide-train proportions than a longer, more powerful #50 President project.
These blanks are newly made by ZHUSROD from archived Heddon taper references and are not original Heddon blanks, factory replacement sections or antique components.
