ZHUSROD builds bamboo fly rods and supplies blanks and components for rod builders. A useful comparison begins with a particular taper and configuration rather than a promise that every bamboo rod casts the same way.

Compare line weight, length, sections and tip count on the selected product. Finish, wraps, reel-seat options and personalization may vary by listing or order. Confirm the available choices before ordering rather than assuming every combination is offered.

Additional tips must match the intended rod. An extra tip is not automatically an interchangeable way to change its action. If you need a replacement or a particular supplied configuration, ask us to confirm the match.

Finished rod or blank

A finished rod and a rod blank serve different starting points. Read the listing for the components and work supplied. If you are building a rod, confirm ferrule state and finishing before selecting guides, grip and reel seat.

Current estimates and prices

Prices, options and production timing can change. Use the selected product and variant for the current price, availability and fulfillment estimate. Existing photos and old articles do not establish today’s lead time or a standing discount.

Warranty and support

Finished rods and rod blanks carry a one-year warranty against verified manufacturing defects under our current warranty guidance. Accidental damage is outside that manufacturing-defect coverage.

We do not currently offer a return-to-workshop repair service. For a possible manufacturing defect, contact ZHUSROD with the order number and clear photographs before sending anything. For other repairs, consult a local rod builder or fly shop.
