Crafted from premium Portuguese Grade-A cork, ZHUSROD fly rod handles undergo thermal compression for enhanced density and water resistance. The 15cm length with 9mm inner diameter ensures universal compatibility with most blank diameters. The reel seat groove version features CNC-machined 21mm aluminum inserts for instant compatibility with Abel, Sage, or custom reel seats. Field-tested Full Well contouring provides 30% better grip retention during striper/salmon fights compared to standard handles. At just 12g, it maintains optimal swing weight while absorbing 65% more vibration through natural cork elasticity. Ideal for spey casting, euro nymphing, and backcountry trekking setups.
Questions & answers
Should I choose Full Wells or Half Wells?
Full Wells gives more hand support; Half Wells is more compact. The better choice depends on grip size, casting style, reel-seat position and the blank balance.
Are these grips ready to install?
Check the product page for bore, length and installation notes. The bore and outside shape may still require fitting or shaping for the selected blank and reel seat.
Which reel seats match these cork handles?
Use the grip bore and length together with the reel-seat dimensions. Browse the reel-seat collection, then confirm the actual interface measurements before ordering.
