Impact and misuse
Breakage caused by casting accidents, impact, crushing, leverage, misuse or improper transport.

Damage caused by twisting, forcing or using tools on a ferrule that is stuck or not seating correctly.

Moisture, heat and sunlight
Damage associated with prolonged moisture, excessive heat, direct sunlight or unsuitable storage.

Normal wear
Finish wear, routine cleaning, expected aging and other maintenance associated with normal use.
CARE THAT PREVENTS DAMAGE
Small habits protect a bamboo rod.
Dry the rod before storage
Wipe it with a clean, soft and dry cloth, then let the rod and cloth sock air-dry before placing them in the tube.
Store it disassembled and protected
Keep sections in the cloth sock and protective tube in a cool, dry and temperature-stable place.
Join and separate ferrules straight
Keep ferrules clean and dry. Press together and pull apart in a straight line without twisting, forcing or tools.
Inspect before and after fishing
Stop using the rod if you find a loose guide, visible separation, a crack or a ferrule that no longer fits normally.

How long is the warranty?
Finished rods and rod blanks carry a 1-year warranty against verified manufacturing defects.
Is accidental breakage covered?
No. Impact, casting accidents, crushing, misuse and improper transport are not manufacturing defects.
How should I handle nickel-silver ferrules?
Keep them clean and dry, and join or separate the sections in a straight line without twisting or force.
What if the item arrives damaged?
Photograph the package, label, protective tube and product, keep all packaging, and contact us promptly.
Do you offer a repair service?
We do not currently offer a return-to-workshop repair service. For repairs outside a warranty claim, consult a local rod builder or fly shop. For a possible manufacturing defect, contact ZHUSROD with your order number and photographs before sending anything.
